Conceptual Music: This was composed to a small piece that I wrote:

Time is a funny thing, you know? You talk about it like it's running out, you feel liable to it. You say things like 'untimely'. It's been a race, you've had hazy visions of your past that you're latched on to. You've hoped, everyday, for your tomorrows to feel like yesterdays. You've wanted it to go faster.

But time isn't running out. I am. I'm liable to me, but I like not being at its center; so I ask time to carry my weight. But time is no God. The Sirens of Titan has an interesting take on God: The Church of the God the Utterly Indifferent. "Puny man can do nothing at all to help or please God Almighty, and Luck is not the hand of God."

What's happening isn't untimely, if not now, I ask not when, I ask how?
If I think about it, it wasn't always like this. Very rarely have I wanted yesterday to come back, unless, to do it better. Now, I just want its essence back.
Have I wanted it to go faster, or have I wanted it to get better?
How can measurement get any better? Well, I can't hope for a kilogram of rice to weigh better than it used to. I wish I could. I don't have answers. Nor do you.
But we may.
